Randall “Randy” Steven Boven, 63, of Mt. Morris, Michigan, went home to be with the Lord on November 26, 2025. Visitation will be held at 12:00 PM until the time of the Funeral Service at 3:00 PM on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road in Grand Blanc. Officiated by His Brother, Pastor Gary Boven.

Born on July 2, 1962 to William and Pauline (Hardin) Boven. Randy grew up in Burton, Michigan as the youngest of 6 boys. He graduated from Atherton Schools in 1980. Randy spent his life building—homes, projects, memories, and a legacy of hard work and love.

A gifted contractor and true jack of all trades, Randy could do it all: hang drywall, lay ceramic tile, and build a house from the ground up. He had a passion for creating things with his own two hands, and he poured that same dedication into every part of his life. His creativity extended beyond his work; he loved music, drawing, baseball, camping, fishing, and gardening. Most of all, Randy cherished time spent with his family and enjoyed sharing stories, telling jokes, and making others laugh.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents William and Pauline Boven; grandchildren Natalie and Nathanial; sister-in-law, Michelle; and lifelong friends and “brothers,” Deno, Vito, and Ted.

He is survived by his children Brian Boven (Amber), Terry Boven (Josebeth), and Ashlee Taylor (Kenny); lifelong companion, Lori Boven; grandchildren Lacey, Kaleb, Austin, Faith, Naudia, Kenneth, and Brystal; great-grandson, Axiel. He is also survived by his five brothers: Ted, Richard (Ronda), Gary (Geraldine), John (Cathy), and Doug (Valentina), along with many other loving family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Randy will be remembered for his humor, his kindness, his talent, and the joy he brought to those around him. His hands built many things, but his heart built a family and a lifetime of love.
