Heart of Caring Award

At Sharp Funeral Homes, we have great respect and appreciation for the compassionate care and devotion of hospice professionals and volunteers in our community.

In an effort to recognize these caregivers for their devoted service, we have created our "Heart of Caring Award." Each month we will honor a caregiver based on the nominations received from peers, friends, and patients and their families. The recipient of the monthly award will receive a "Heart of Caring" glass heart, their name inscribed on a Heart of Caring plaque at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center (6063 Fenton Rd, Flint), and a gift card that can be used for whatever they desire.

At the end of twelve months, a Caregiver of the Year will be selected who will be revealed at our yearly Heart of Caring banquet honoring the twelve finalists.

Please take a moment to nominate an individual whose care has touched your heart. This person may be a hospice professional physician, nurse, chaplain, social worker, CNA, healthcare administrative professional, or a volunteer.
