Our Letter to Military Families

There is always something special about serving veterans and their families. Perhaps it’s because even though a veteran and I may not have personally known one another, I know that the actions of this person contributed to the protection of my personal freedom. Though we never physically crossed paths, I cannot forget that this hero’s sacrifice did affect my life in an indirect but impactful way.

As a veteran of the United States Army myself, I understand the significance of that sacrifice. Once you become a soldier, there is no returning to the way you once viewed the world – for better or worse. That sacrifice alone, along with everything else a veteran must go through to fulfill their duty to our country, makes him worthy of nothing less than the highest honor when it comes to his funeral or memorial arrangements.

This belief is shared by all of us at Sharp Funeral Homes, and it is why we strive so fiercely to treat the military families we serve with the utmost reverence and respect. When a veteran comes into our care, the family can be assured that we will expend every effort to secure all possible funeral honors and burial benefits to fully recognize his service and create a lasting legacy of bravery and honor.
